Always ask before opening PDF

By accident I've unchecked this in the box. I want the box back to choose to
download or open PDF.
In Folder options - the box 'Confirm open....' IS CHECKED for PDF documents.
But still Explorer 6.0 automatically opens PDF. I don't get the box to choose.

What else can I do to re-enable this.

Hi,

Try disabling the "View In Browser" or "Web Browser Integration" feature
in your Adobe Acrobat viewer. There is some explanation at
http://www.bnl.gov/itd/webapps/pdf_help.asp

Well, tried that, didn't help. Think I've tried just about every suggestion I
could find on the Net, nothing works. Guess I'll have to live with it. Just
don't understand why something so simple can be so difficult to get back.
