So after reading all the threads, it's clear that BCM will not integrate
(databases) with Outlook any time soon. What then is the point of even
launching BCM? Why not use a more robust CM that even synchronizes with
outlook. That being said, are there any suggestions for a good contact
manager to try? I've used ACT, which I found to be clunkier as it evolved
from DOS versions through all the Win versions. I am an single remote sales
manager that needs a good Sales CM.
 
The absolute best CRM rthat I have found is TeamScope CRM
http://teamscope.com/ This is a very robust CRM program that can either be
installed on an exchange server or in your .pst folder (for a stand-alone
installation). Because it installs its folders in your .pst folder it is
totally integrated into Outlook (there is no external SQL database). Among
other things, this means that you can sync with any PDA that syncs with
Outlook, because you are simply syncing your .pst folder.

I have looked at several CRM solutions, including Outlook with BCM and
Prophet, but I found Teamscope CRM to be the most stable, configuarble, and
easiest to use. And, being able to sync with my Blackberry sealed the deal.
 
I have tried this software (Prophet). It does not reside within Outlook, but
also uses an external SQL database.
