Are there any good alternatives to WMP11 in Windows Vista to play music?
Windows Media Player 11 is very slow, so slow that my whole computer slows
down from it, even with no visualizations on. It's funny because WMP11 on
XP works fine with no more CPU usage than WMP10. I'm hoping this has to do
with my sound card drivers, but I don't know for sure. (The sound card
drivers are as good as they're going to get for now, however.) I believe
I've already reported this issue, so that's been done. iTunes works okay,
but I don't know if I really care for one visualization (that's somewhat
intensive) and a library that has text over text. (I think that's a bug.)
Although the very latest version of iTunes doesn't shut off my Aero Glass.
Thanks.
