Windows Vista Alternatives to Vistas cryptic and ridiculously slow disk defrag

Any suggestions?

Any free disk defrag progs recommended?

Or should i just sit out the many hours with no indication of time/progress with Vista?

I use Diskeeper and have it set up to run every night from 01.00 am to 08.00 am whilst I'm asleep . Seems to work fine as it only runs for a few minutesand does not really affect Boinc which I have running through the night . I recon it would run even faster but my 320Gb hdd is nearly full , I really must get around to clearing out some crud .
