Alternatives to SpyNet for Submittig Reports

I have spyware on my computer that Microsoft Antispyware
doesn't detect. I tried submitting reports through the
SpyNet tool but they don't go out. It says check my proxy
settings.

I have Zone Alarm installed, but even when I shut it down I
can't send the report. My hardware firewall is a Linksys
router, but my port 80 is open.

Is there a simpler way to submit a new spyware report?
 
At time with ZoneAlarm you have to close and relaunch the
app that you are having problems with even after
ZoneAlarm has been shutdown. My first suggestion is to
shutdown ZoneAlarm first, then shutdown MSAS by right-
clicking the icon in the systray, and then launch MSAS
and try to send the report. If this doesn't help, you
can post what's not being detected on the Signatures
forum of this newsgroup.

Don't worry about trying other workarounds--although I guess this message
CAN be caused by misconfigured proxy settings, in fact, for most people, it
is a bug within the beta1 code that we have no workaround for.

I'm afraid I also don't have an alternative way to get the report in to
offer you. I'm quite sure these issues will be fixed in beta2, but I know
that's not much consolation for now.
