I have a new MB, a gigabyte, and wanted to look at the temps of the cores,
etc. However, the home edition of Everest does not work. I searched around
and found others having the same issue with newer boards.

The solution is to use the latest and greatest edition of Everest, full
blown edition, but they want you to pay for it and it is a little price,
like >$40.

Any alternatives?

Thanks.

One thing I would do is ask in the gigabyte group.
alt.comp.periphs.mainboard.gigabyte
Maybe Gigabyte provides a monitoring utility.

There is another program here, but I haven't tried it.
(I use MBM5, even though the web site is long gone, and
development stopped years ago.)
