Alternative Fax program?

As Home Premium does not have a Fax program, can anyone suggest an
alternative?

Nothing fancy, just something that I can print to that will send a fax
to a number I type. I guess a sent log would be handy.

I've now tried SnappyFax, and I don't like it: too complicated.

Any ideas?

If it were me, I would instead buy an inexpensive stand-alone fax
machine. I bought mine recently for US$20.
 
But it isn't you, and I have a fax machine.

Any suggestions on fax programs?

through our test process. This is primarily for mid to high end
solutions;

I used Winfax with my XP machines (still do) and found it invaluable. There is nothing like sending and recieving faxes directly from a pc. Much better than a fax machine.

Unfortunately, Winfax does not work with Vista and I believe that Symantec
does not even support Winfax anymore.

If anyone comes across fax software similar to Winfax that can be used in
Vista, Please let me know!

Winfax was perfect. Very functional and easy to use. Need to customize cover page. Importing the old winfax phonebook would be nice.
