Dear Valentine
Thank you for a prompt reply.
1. How did you "update" Outlook 2000 and how did you "transfer" your e-mail
addresses?
A new PC with Office/Outlook 2000 installed. Transfer by making a
*.pst file in the previous PC and copy that to new PC and import to
Outlook.
2. In what mail support mode is Outlook 2000 running? (Line 2 of Help |
About, if you're not sure)
Line 2 says (in translation): Only internet e-mail.
3. What do you mean by "standard address?"
In-box -> Functions -> Address book -> Search name -> Open properties
of name
-> look in tab Name -> several e-mail addresses for that name -> one
is selected as 'standard' for that name (maybe default in English).
So, I want the possibility of selecting the appropriate e-mail address
when I start making a new mail from the In-box - my previous version
of Outlook 98 was somehow configured to show all e-mails of a name
when preparing a new mail.
Best regards

Dear all
I recently updated to Outlokk 2000 and used my previous *.pst file to
transfer e-mail adresses.
Some of my contacts have several e-mail adresses. When sending a new
message: How do I
1) check the address chosen as standard (Outlook checks the name
associated with the address that Outlook chooses, but I would rather
see the address)
2) select an alternative to the standard address.
Best regards
