The simplest way to accomplish this would be to create a 2 slide
presentation that loops and link to this presentation. So ...
Presentation 1 contains the bulk of the slide show.
Presentation 2 contains slide 1 (with picture A) and slide 2 (with picture
B). This presentation has been set-up to 'loop continuously until Escape'
(option under SlideShow | Setup ... ).
Look at this link to learn how to link presentation 2 into presentation 1:

When running the show, you will run presentation 1 and advance normally into
the looping slides. Then you will have to hit escape to end presentation 2
and continue on with presentation 1.
