I use Outlook 2003 at home, 2002 and 2000 (2000 connected to an Exchange
server) at work. I would like to have the ability to alter the beginning
date for the calendar to be January of this year instead of the long time ago
date currently being displayed. Is it possible to alter the calendar
beginning dates for any/all versions I'm using?

I'm not sure what you mean by beginning date...usually you can go as far back
or forward in the calendar as you like. What view are you referring to?
Please explain further.

As you noted 'you can go as far back or forward in the calendar as you like',
......I want to keep the months older than January of the current year from
displaying at all via scrolling. Additionally, I would like to only be able
to scroll ahead one year from the current date.

I see. Unfortunately, no, you can't do that. The calendar is a perpetual
calendar and even if there is no data in it for a given period of time, you
can still go back or forward indefinitely (although going backward might have
a system-imposed limit, like 1900 or something -- not sure about going
forward).
