Alt-F4 won't close window and F2 won't rename

Recently something happened to make these two shortcuts stop working. Alt-F4
will no longer close the active Window but in Word it changes the View from
Print to Normal. F2 won't work to rename files in Explorer but it wants to
act like Undo. In most windows Other shortcut keys still work as they
should. I don't recall installing any applications recently. Have I
inherited some funky malware that's messing with certain key functions?

What type of keyboard are you using? A Microsoft keyboard with the F lock
key toggled off will exhibit that sort of behavior.
