I have just upgraded to Windows XP and the shortcut
function to print the current page in PPT has changed from
Alt+E to Alt+C, yet in Word it has remained as Alt+E.
Purely because it is habitual, does anyone know if I can
change this function back to Alt+E?
Hard to say, since neither of those key combos works here.
For example, Alt+E opens the Edit menu - in every version of Windows PowerPoint
ever released, in every Windows version.
Ah, wait. You mean IN the print dialog box once it's opened. Gotcha.
The change isn't due to different Windows versions, it's probably because you
changed PPT versions at the same time. It's Alt+E in PPT 2000 but C in 2002
and later.
Afraid there's nothing you can do to change it, though. You'll have to upgrade
your head and fingers as well. ;-)
