I am also having trouble opening our Access 2000
database. Everytime I try to open a table, form or query
I get an invalid argument message. If I look at the
message it tells me that it involves a routine in the dll
and one of the arguments is invalid. We have always had
little quirks with this database, things like not being
able to shut access down or sometimes things not saving.
But this is really bad and I don't know if I need to
revert to an old copy or not. We have tried making a new
copy and using it, but get the same error message.
Help!!!!

So you have tried importing the objects into a new db?

Have you tried this on a different machine to make sure it is not the
machine causing the problem?

Make sure Office is up to date with its SP's

ACC2000: "Invalid Argument" When You Import, Copy, or Append Data to a
Table http://support.microsoft.com/?id=302495
is very close to your problem.

Access minimizes to Windows 95/NT tool bar instead of closing

or sometimes things not saving.

Not sure what that cu old be.

How did you make a new copy? By importing into a new MDB?
