Alphabetizing contacts in email list

I just set up my new computer which has Vista Premiere. The old one was XP.
Now when the list of contacts comes up to choose names for sending emails,
they are alphabetized by first names (very inconvenient). How do I fix this
so they will come up by last name? Granny
 
Your Outlook version is in play, not your OS. No question is answered more
often than how to sort the Outlook Address Book. Find one of the posts that
matches your Outlook version.
