Is there a program that you can enter a list of names, with data for
each name, and then alphabetize the list??
Thanks,

Sure. Spreadsheet? Text editor? ...?

What *kind* of program (read: what kind of data format) do you want?

Thanks for your reply,
The data would be Surname, Given name, Birth date, Death date, where
buried.
For list of persons buried in Cemeteries.

The DOS sort command works pretty well.

Just guessing at the way you might want to be sorting the data, maybe
DBEdit from www.arachnoid.com/dbedit will suit. It will allow you to,
for instance, order by Surname, then for each surname, order by Birth
date, then for each Birth date, order by Cemetery etc.
