Alphabetize Group Members

I have a client using Outlook 2000. She has created several distribution
lists (groups) and is wanting a print out of the group members.

When we check the "properties" of the distribution list (group), the names
are in alphabetical order. But when we print out the list, the names appear
to be in a more random order.

How can we obtain an alphabetical print out of the members of a distribution
list (group)?

What do you see if you simply open the DL?
Is this a DL or a group? You keep using both terms.

I keep using both terms because I thought they meant the same thing just
applied to different products. For example, Outlook Express calls them
"groups," but Outlook calls them "distribution lists." Is this the root of
my problem? That I don't have a clear understanding of the difference
between groups and distribution lists?

Actually, whatever they are called in Outlook 2000, my client sees an
alphabetical list of the 90 members in her group. But when she highlights
the group name in the address book and clicks the "print" icon, the 90
members print is a random order rather than in an alphabetical order.

Are they printing in the order she added them to the distribution list?

To send me a mail use the "Reply-To" address...I won't get it otherwise!

My wife says I have way too many car models in my workroom...I say she
has too much crap in the bathroom...

They are not the same thing and you'll need first to determine which your
client is using.
You'll also need to determine which mail support mode of Outlook 2000 she is
using.

Yes, it seems they are printing out in the order in which they were
originally added to the group. Seems to me there should be an easy way to
alphabetize the list so that it prints out the same way it displays on
screen.

She created a group in her address book. The members of the group change
periodically, so there are always some being removed and some being added.
Is there not an easy way to alphabetize this list for printing purposes??

I would have no idea. If she's using groups in her address book, she's no
longer using Outlook.

She should definitely be using Distribution Lists in her Contacts Folder.
