alphabetication of file names when emailing pictures

I have made a specific folder within My Pictures in order to email only the
photos in that folder and I really want to email them in a specific order.
When I click to send them by email, however, they become ordered
alphabetically which is a real problem. It's very important that the are sent
in the order I want them to be sent, and I would like to be able to keep
descriptive file names rather than numbering or lettering them from 1-10 or
a-j to force them to send in the correct order. Is there any way to do this?

Thanks for the link but while the files are organized numerically and
alphabetically as you say below and as it says on the linked paged, when I
select them in order to send by email, the order gets totally messed up.
First I tried putting a number in front of my names, exactly as you suggested
below, but it STILL went with the alphabetical system, so that I had:

2-after
4-after
1-before
3-before
and so on...

which obviously isn't what I want.

Any ideas?

You are correct. This is a real pain when you select the files and you
select e-mail these files. The only way to do it is after renaming the
files, you e-mail the folder.
Since you made a special folder for these files, click on the folder name to
select it and then use the command under File and Folder Task "E-mail the
files in this folder" . This should work, the files should be attached to
your message in the proper order.
Avoid using hyphen in the name, use underline instead:
01_before
etc
