Hi

I have created a bunch of 32 bit icons with a transparent background.
Windows' integrated image viewer clearly shows the background as being
transparent. However, if I use any of those icons as NotifyIcon, they are
shown on a black background, rather than a transparent one. Is there
anything I can do to get my icons displayed using the proper background
color?

Regards
Stephan

Basically that should work (it's supported by Windows). What tool do
you use to create the icon file?

I used Easy Icon Maker (www.icon-maker.com). I presume the icons were
created properly as Windows XP's Picture and Fax viewer shows them having a
transparent background (rather than the black background I get in my app,
and in the file listing in Windows Explorer). Is there another application I
should try?
