alot of problems

Well i seem to have a problem that for awhile when i added over 7 clips MM
would close for no reason and i fixed it by unselecting some filters but when
i did that MM slowed down and now it will either just play the audio files i
put in or freeze when i it plays with the video. so i need help soon because
this project is for school.
 
You need to give more details or noone can help you.

What format are the video files
What format are the audio files

what else can you tell us that you can think of...
 
well the video files are avi and the audio is mp3. the filters i turn off are
from the codec pack combined community codec pack (cccp). ummm i can watch
the content i put together if i have the filters on but if they are on i
can't add more than 7 sceens with out it crashing, but if the filter is off i
can ad ass amny sceens as i want but i cant watch the content i put together
