Dear Outlook MVP's and all,
Can no one on the Outlook development team come up with a secure way
to allow for inline images? Perhaps some kind of filter or inline scan
that could be done within Outlook which was transparent to the user?
We receive several gif attachments (virus-free) by e-mail on a daily
basis and it is seems stone age "ish" to have to double-click to be
able to see them now that I have upgraded from Outlook Express to
Outlook 2002.
After reading through the many posts, it seems clear that there is a
need for something like this.
What about having Outlook (or Outlook Express) "automatically" imbed
the image on the sender's end by default when they attach an image?
What would the drawback to that be? I read somewhere that if the image
was imbedded by the sender, then it COULD be viewed inline by the
recipient.
