How do I add a site to the allowed list? Had some work done on my computer
and now when I go to a site that I have used in the past, the box covers
don't come up and there is a little red x. Did this once before and don't
remember where I got help in fixing it or who helped me. Please advise
thanks.

Hi,
Running IE6 or IE7?
Not sure what a box cover is. A button on the webpage?
What's the URL of the troublesome page?

Hi,
URL is the address of the website. Being able to visit the page helps with
diagnosis.

Try these steps...
Clear the Temporary Internet Files and History from Internet Options>
General> Browsing History> Delete> (next screen) Delete History and delete
Temporary Internet Files.

You may have an incompatible browser add-on.
See: http://www.enhanceie.com/ie/troubleshoot.asp
for troubleshooting information.

The troublesome program may not show up as an add-on. Disable other
security, privacy, ad-blocking, appearance tweaking programs to see if one
of them is causing the problem. Any program that interacts with Internet
Explorer could be causing this. The connection with IE may not be obvious,
such as Google Desktop.

A firewall might be causing this problem. Be sure to turn on the Windows
Firewall from Control Panel> Windows Firewall before disabling a third-party
firewall or security suite during testing.

Hope this helps,
Don
