When sending to a specific domain mail is returned with the following error messag

There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server. Please contact your system administrator.
<server01.xxxxx.xxxxx.xxxxx.xx #5.5.0 smtp;553 sorry, that domain isn't in my list of allowed rcpthosts (#5.7.1

Where can I check to see if I have inadvertently blocked the whole of this domain from my email ability? Some time ago I believe we received a bogus email with virus attachment from someone on this domain and I may have "blocked" the whole domain instead of just the specific address (if this is possible !) Unfortunately I can't ask my system administrator as that's me :-(

Hi Susiet,

we have had the same error message.
There is an error on the exchange. It use the domain as his own domain, but
he have no accounts to this domain. So you have to delete this domain from
the black list of your exchange server.
Post back if you have any results

Hi Bravesta

Thanks for your messag
Unfortunately the domain does not appear in the Blocked Senders list - I'll try adding them to the Safe Recipients List to see if this will affect it. Is there anywhere else to look for a blacklist
Many thanks

If you aren't using Exchange or running your own mail server in house, this
is most likely a question you need to bring up with your ISP. It has nothing
to do with your mail client - it's a mail server error message. Your domain,
mail server, or mail server's public IP may be blacklisted somewhere.

This is often due to not properly authenticating to the outbound server.
This option ins on one of your acount's properties pages.
