Under the tab remote, there is not the question or the
button to "allow users to connect reotely to this
computer". Both my home computer and work use windows XP.
I'm not sure what it means when i have to get permission
from the network administrator. Does that mean whom i
have internet service through? Because if i have to talk
to the administrator at my company that would be me and
only me. One other thing i can't sign into the help and
support center remote assistance, so that i may talk with
someone in real time.

Help

Is this XP Pro? XP Home doesn't have Remote Desktop....and you need to be
logged in with local admin rights in order to enable/disable/configure
remote desktop & the permissions....

Right click on "My Computer", select Properties and look at the General tab...
