Recently trying to move from Palm to Win Mobile, I find the active sync very
frustrating. Since I must select that PC overwrites mobile, or mobile
overwrites pc, my secretary and I can't both modify data and keep it working.
When I sync how about a "user selects correct data" type option?

Thanks

Actually, if the device detects that changes were made to the contact record
on both devices, it will flag the record as "conflict" and will allow you to
resolve the conflicting record manually.

The option you should be using is merge, not overwrite. Please note that
Activesync is now up to release 4.2, so earlier versions might need to be
updated.

In other words, your suggestion has been fundamentally addressed a long time
ago.

Additionally you are posting in the BCM group, but I don't think you are
using BCM. BCM has a shared mode feature that would enable your secretary to
update the records for you, although you'll also need to install BCM mobile.
Links for all that stuff are on my website.
