Hello

In order for our users not to be too much disturbed by our migration from
Windows 2000 to XP, we try to adapt XP to look like Windows 2000 as much as
possible.
One thing is still pending and should be resolved: we want to run links
using EXE files without any warning message from the system when doing so...
in other words, we want EXE files to run as they did in Windows 2000...
We know there is probably a sinple solution to do so: can someone help ?

Regards
Nicolas

Warning message? I never get any kind of warning message when running
executables in XP.

Can you be a *lot* more specific, please?

(And I'll forbear asking, why convert to XP if you're then going to
try to make it look like 2000? Why not just stick with 2000, which is
its own best emulator?)

OK I try to be more specific.

If you try to run an MSI, an EXE or an LNK file containing an EXE, the
system tells you something like "not secure", probably because it is not
digitally signed. You just have to confirm with "OK" that you want to run the
file and then it runs...

P.S. : Sorry, I cannot give the exact description of the message because we
have no english version of Windows XP...

Check for a Block/Unblock button on the Windows, or check the box that says
.... always allow (I think when you click More Details).
