Allow Active Content on local PC?

I've got Windows XP SP2. I tutor a course on JavaScript, so I have to
run a lot of code that students have produced.

How can I stop IE6 from blocking Active Content when it is on my PC?

Thanks, but neither of the workarounds are possible, and the other
option seems to allow *any* website to run scripts. I just want it on
the local PC.
