Allow a user to Unlock a PC

I need to know if there is a way to allow a user to unlock a PC that has
been in use by another user with out giving them full admin rights.This
would need to unlock the PC and log the other user off so that this user
could log on.

That is not possible. The user needs to be a local administrator on that
computer. If it is a big problem you might want to look at using a logoff
screen saver for time when the computer locks due to the screen saver. Of
course a hard reboot of the computer will bring up the logon screen of a
locked computer but that can lead to loss of data for the logged on

Only a member of the administrators group (or the user who has the screen
locked) can log off a locked account. If it is not the user who locked it -
even using the administrators group card will possibly cause the locked user
to lose unsaved data.

This has been a concern for many people opver the years - particularly in
lab environments. It has become more of a policy issue than a computing
issue - since most just make it policy that an idle computer can only stay
idle so long before the user account (locked or not) is logged off the
computer in a public/many users-few computers environment..

Show them how to press the computer's power button twice ;-)

Other than that, as the other replies state - no, this is not possible. I've
looked at group policy settings and can't find squat, when I've been asked
this before.
