I recently installed a 120Gb HDD alongside my 20Gb HDD.
I initially uninstalled the 20Gb, put the 120GB on the IDE cable as master
(setting the appropriate link position) and did a clean install of Win Xp
OS. The 120Gb HDD performed okay after the install.
I then set the 120GB disk to Slave and the 20Gb to Master (seeting the links
appropriately) The 120Gb is still okay but because I used "Boot Magic" to
boot up and hit the wrong button (Duh!!!) The 120 GB disk runs okay, but the
20Gb disk reports a fault with the disk allocation tables and I can't
access this disk!
Is there anyway around this problem? How can I reclaim the data on the disk?
