(First of all, I would like to thank all of the MVP's who
contribute - your advice in other posts have saved me a
world of grief in the past).

I set up a wireless home network on my desktop PC and
laptop and have Internet Access and am able to share
files and wirelessly connect to my PC printer.....but:

The network is only seen by one user (me) on both the
laptop and the desktop (whether the other users have
administrative rights or not). "My Network Places" is
only on the start menu for my user account.

Note that all users are successfully sharing Internet
Access.

How can I have all users see the network and the shared
folders/printers? If there is an easy way (i.e. not
setting up a network connection for each user) I would
sure appreciate any information.

Thanks!

What you need to do is set up accounts on each computer with passwords for the users that you wnat to be able to access
shared resources. The Network places can be added to the start menu by checking the option for it in the properties of the start menu. Right click on the start button and choose properties> customize> advanced> on the option menu check the box to show Network Places on the menu, otherwise you can access it from the control panel. Admin rights will not give you access to the other computer and resouces, the other computers need to have accounts for each user that will need access. Account names and passwords need to be the same on each computer. Hope this helps.

Bob - you're exactly right. I did some more searching today on the internet
and what you state is right on the money. I appreciate the quick and
accurate reply.
Regards
