I know this is slightly off topic, but I do not have a Windows Live Mail
newsgroup in my list of available ones.
I have been recovering a problem on my neighbours PC where her user profile
got corrupted and created a temporary one in its place for her to use. I
have managed to get most of her stuff back by creating a new account for her
and moving the 'my documents' from her old account to the new.
I have just about everything back to normal except for one thing - I cannot
find any of her old Windows Live Mail messages.
I cannot access her profile folder in c:\documents and settings as it is a
zero size folder and tells me that access is denied. Even via the XP
Administrator account I cannot find anything inside it.
Looking in the TEMP folder in the docs and settings folder, there is nothing
present there in the Windows Live folder either.
Am I missing a trick here, or is it still possible to retrieve her old mail
messages from somewhere.
TIA
