All of a sudden I can't access the web

It was working fine this morning but now I get:
Read Access Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow objects to be read.

Can anyone tell me how to fix this? TIA, Jim
 
First i'd open device mgr,expand the hardware tree for network,R.click select
uninstall,do for all of them w/o restarting pc,close out device mgr.Go to
run,
type:cmd In cmd type:netsh Winsock reset type:CHKDSK C: /F Agree,type:
EXIT restart pc XP will reinstall on restart....One other item,if you
have a
modem for internet,instead of restart,shutdown pc,unplug modem for 1 1/2
minut-
es or so,then replug,restart pc.

More info needed, what your operating system version, how do you connect to
the internet?.
Does the Hardware is working and connected (see the three green light are
they solid green).
Try to turn OFF the Router/Modem for about 60-70 secs and the computer then
Turn the Router/Modem ON back for about 40-50 secs then the Computer and try
the connection.
Open a run command and type in:
ipconfig /flushdns click [OK]
ipconfig /renew click [OK]
netsh winsock reset click [OK]
Reboot and see if the connection will work.
Check your firewall it may blocking your connection.
If all the above didn't work try to Restore (Use System Restore) to Yesterday.
