I checked the MS website and cleared the forms cache - no effect. I then
tried to add the COM add-ins but none appeared in the box. So no help with
the Microsoft website.
I then dowloaded the latest version of BCM and it is still the same.

When I look at a Business Contact the whole of the Outlook inbox appears in
the history area.

Anyone have any ideas?

Do you have the Office Service Packs?

It's probably the forms cache. Delete it entirely off the disk and let
Outlook rebuild a new one.

Thanks Luther,

Yes, I have the service packs.

I tried to find out how to delete the forms cache on Microsoft.com but
couldn't find it. Sorry to be so dumb but how do I delete the cache?

Thanks
Graham

Shutdown Outlook.
Delete everything in this directory:

C:\Documents and Settings\<your_login>\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\FORMS

Thanks Luther,

I deleted the files but it had no effect on the problem - it still shows the
whole Inbox. Weird huh?

It was working fine for the past 6 months. I recently added a Pocket Pc
which syncs with BCM - could this have changed anything?

Graham

Graham,

If you have your PocketPC in the cradle when you start Outlook, try taking
it out of the cradle and then restarting Outlook.

If that has no effect, there is a more thorough way of clearing the forms
cache:

(a) On the Tools menu, click Options.
(b) On the Other tab, click Advanced Options.
(c) In the Advanced Options window, click Custom Forms.
(d) In the Custom Forms window, click Manage Forms.
(e) In the Forms Manager window, click Clear Cache.
(f) Click Close.

Hope this helps!

Hi

Is the Business Tools Menu present? If not that would indicate that BCM did
not fully load. A failure of BCM to fully load can cause the problem you
are seeing

Thanks Larry,

The Business Tools is present (I assume that it is the menu under Actions ).
I'll probably have to re-install at some point!

Best
Graham

I am having the same issues and have just installed outlook and BCM for the
first time of of CD's that I just received from Microsoft to evaluate this. I
have no idea what to do here - I have tried to reinstall the BCM - did not
fix it. What do we do?

Hi Jeff,

I've searched the Microsoft site and the Web for answers. This blog is my
last hope - I've had some suggestions (see above) but they didn't fix it -
I'm seriously thinking of going back to ACT as this makes BCM completely
useless. No-one at Microsoft gives a damn it seems.

Good luck
Graham
