I haven't played any of the games that came with Windows XP in about 4
months. When I went to select them from the start up menu, it said the file
was empty. I ran a search for solitaire, etc. and came up blank. Where did
my games go??

In Add/Remove, 'Windows Components', the Accessories area has a Games detail,
and checkboxes for the games. If they are checked now, uncheck, and OK to
restart Windows to go back and check, and OK. That will reinstall your games.

Try looking in C:\Windows\System32 Folder. You will find them there.
SOL.exe, FreeCell.exe , Spider.exe and so
forth.

When you find the games you want just rt click on each one and choose
Send To Desktop as Shortcut.
