All Media plays at an overly rapid speed

Whether mpeg video, standard audio or DVD, all my media
files have begun to play at a higher speed than normal.
This includes Flash Macromedia files as well. What can I
do to fix this. I have a presentation tomorrow afternoon -
Help !!

You can adjust the speed in Windows Media Player.

Click Play Menu | Play Speed
-or-
View menu | Enhancements | Play Speed Settings

Range -16 (slowest) to +16 (fastest)
1.0 is normal.
