Did anybody successfully install an
AllInWonderPro card in a win2k system?

The GraphicCard works OK, but I was
not able to install the MultimediaCenter
to watch TV.
The installation dialog hangs when
selecting Cable or Antenna.
The only option I get is "Quit Installation".

Driver I checked:

w2k-j5-30-1-b02 and
MMC72noDVD.exe

It seems to me, that the drivers are not
correct ones for AllInWonderPro, but
ATI doesn't offer any alternatives.

If there is no way to succed in W2k,
is there a solution in Linux?

I installed said card in xp, and although the driver works for open gl
games, it does have some flaws such as your monitor will not turn off
when it's told to power down.

mmc on the other hand is well garbage. i had a 650mhz pc and capture was
near impossible. Watching tv was nearly as bad, would not work at colour
depth above 16bit.

I found a solution about it crashing when choosing cable/antenna. you
have to go into the registry and look for the autoscan entry and change
it to 1(maybe 0?) i think. That way it bypasses that part.

Considering that the next gen card RAGE 128, has older drivers. Your
best bet is to upgrade to a Radeon AIW.

I had problems with the install on Windows 2000 and never did get the
TV portion of my All-In-Wonder 9600 Pro to install. After searching
the Net and not finding any suitable instructions, I formatted the
hard drive (it was a fresh install of Windows 2000 that I was trying
to install to), installed Windows XP Professional, and the ATI install
went without a hitch. Everything works well and I am quite
satisfied...
