Is it possible to get any kind of adapter to have DVI-out in AIW 9600pro
card?

I don't quite understand this question. I have an AIW8500DV. The card has
DVI connector and comes with an DVI to VGA adaptor, so both LCD and CRT
monitors can use the card. Does AIW 9600pro omit either one?

Thanks, I don't know that. I am glad to read this just before I buy an
AIW9600 pro. If I can't use LCD with it, I am better off. Does anyone
know if AIW 9800 or AIW 9000 has DVI connector?

Both the 9800 and the 9000 have DVI. I think ATI is going to find that
failing to put it on the 9600 was a major blunder--I was going to get a
9600AIW until I found out about that, now I'm going to delay purchase
until the 9800 comes down a bit--I've tried my projector with VGA and
component video and neither looks as good as DVI, so the lack of it is a
show-stopper.

I think the AIW 9600 was designed with a special connector that
supports an ATI dual-head VGAs dongle instead of a single DVI.

Saw a review on anandtech on a high end 16 x 12 LCD with both analog and
digital inputs, and they said the analog had noise problems, due to the
high data rate needed for a monitor at this resolution. I liked the
idea of dual head, and the priceon the AIW 9600, but no DVI may well be a
showstopper.
