all imported videos come in as many hours long?

When I bring a 20-30-40 second video into MovieMaker, and drag it down to the
time line to edit...it comes in as some 3+ hours long.
What should I adjust/change?

As with the .mov files you previously asked
about...you are importing files that are not
compatible with movie maker.
