We have a database with about 20 forms. Why all the forms
dispear after an error happened but the tables and query
and report are there.
we have not hidden the forms.
I cannot figure out since it has happened in 3 months.
Thanks

WOW! That is strange. You may try the "Repair" utility if
you haven't already (Tools->Database Utilities)
Make sure you have the latest updates for whatever
version of Access you are running so even if you don't
find out what caused it, you can try to prevent it from
happening again.
Sorry, that isn't much help.

Thanks. It happens three times in past three months.
Thanks god we have a backup. I'm not sure if there is any
weird vba code that casue it. Does anybody have similar
problems?

What version of Access? I've had some problems in 2002 with Queries
(and, IIRC, forms as well) disappearing from the database window after
I edit one of them. Switching from the Queries window to another
window and back recovers them with nothing missing.

If they're disappearing and staying gone, you might try creating a
new, empty database and using File... Get External Data... Import to
import all your objects into a new database.
