All drives whit same icon. How can I choose right drive ?

My computer show me 6 drives equal. Only the 6 letters are different. How can i change the icons to distinguish them ?
Any suggestions are appreciate

Under the registry key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIco
ns

For example, for drive C:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\DriveIco
ns\C\DefaultIcon (Default)=C:\icons\my_c_icon.ico

You can also set the DefaultLabel (see the Drive A: one that is probably in
your registry already, if you have a floppy)

Or, you can set the volume label on the disk itself, so that it doesn't just
say something like "Local Drive". Either do this in the properties of the
disk, or press F2 on it in explorer.

It's possible to use a different method? I would not like to make some errors modifying the register of configuration: I am not experienced and I fear to damage the system!
