I just did a Windows update, to XP Home, 5.1.2600 (SP1,
Build 2600). Immediately thereafter, every all-day event
on my Outlook calendar has become a 2-day scheduled
event. This includes holidays provided by Outlook's
holiday list. Now each of those events is scheduled from
3:00pm on the nominal day of the event, through 3:00pm
the following day.
I have noted other messages suggesting that time zones be
carefully checked. That makes initial sense because we
just moved 3 time zones. However, I changed the time
zone setting as soon as I arrived here, and it is in fact
set correctly in Windows and in Outlook. Further, this
odd offset was not in evidence until I downloaded and
installed the updates.
Local time is also set correctly in Windows, but Outlook
shows a different current time setting than Windows, with
a difference of 1 hour, though in both Outlook and
Windows I have checked "Adjust for daylight savings".
All thoughts appreciated.
