All day event alarm

I know this must be posted somewhere, but I cannot find
it.

Is there a way to set the time for the alarms in all day
events so that they do not go off at 6AM, or should I
just turn off the alarm for all all day events?

If you have reminders set, all-day events always have 18 hour reminders.
That's hard-coded into Outlook. I usually turn off reminders for all-day
events.

Looks like I will turn off reminders as well.

I spend one day each New Year updating our Weekend call
schedule. These are 2 day events, and reminders are not
necessary. Is there a way to automate this process so a
default weekend call is for 2 days, and reminders are
turned off? Otherwise I have to do this 52 times!

I personally don't know a way to automate it, but I'd disable reminders, add
all of the all-day events, then turn them back on.
