Dave
I have an annoying spyware that is really hurting my
Windows 98 OS as well as my Explorer.
If I run MSCONFIG and click on the start-up tab I see a
new entry:
SP rundll32 c:\windows\temp\se.dll,dllInstall
A similar entry is in my REGISTRY in the "run" folder
Of course, Se.dll is lurking in C:windows\temp but I
cannot delete it.
I have run SPYBOT which found the above menace
and "removed it" but it doesn't remove it from the start-
up. If I try to do that the start-up utility hangs up and
I have to reboot, returning me to the problem again.
I've tried to unregester the se.dll but that also fails
I'm not a wizard at system admin, in fact I know just
enough to get myself in trouble. So if you have a
solution, please make it idiot proof. Thanks!
