Alignment

I have a 2-slide presentation that I insert into other presentations from
time to time. The text is supposed to be left aligned, but it insists on
centering. I can fix it, but if I save it and recall it, it will be
centered again. I can't track down the cause. Any suggestions?
 
Usual cause is a bug that has the text box reverting back to the master
slide formatting. A quick solution (although the one I dislike):
- Format the text the way you want
- Duplicate text box
- Delete original text box (one based on master slide text box)
- Position new text box
- Done.
