How do you make the text go down diagonally on the page.

like
this.
Is there a way to do it other than space bar or tab?

Use the tab key, never use so many space inserts as it
will eventually screw up your formatting.

Unless someone knows a secret formula that is simpler to
use than tabing?

We print designers use the tab key when typesetting for
print in page layout applications

I just use multiple text boxes and align them manually - but there is
probably a more swish way...

Create the boxes
Make sure the first and last boxes are where you want them to end up
Select all the boxes
Click Draw, Align or Distribute, Distribute Vertically
Click Draw, Align or Distribute, Distribute Horizontally

That doesn't ensure the bullets are evenly spaced if there is more than one
bullet per text book. How do you set the space b/n boxes in that case?

Ah, NOW you tell us about the bullets and multiple lines. ;-)

You're right, this wouldn't work for that. You'd have to create one text
box per bullet in order to use PPT's Distribute command.

Hm. If the text were top anchored and you used Dstiribute, I think maybe
you could go back and adjust Format, Line Spacing, Before or After
Paragraph to visually respace the paragraphs so that you get the result
you're after.

suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
