does pp have a way to align objects when all are selected on a page?

example: I have a header, some text and an image... all are stacked on top
of each other from top of frame to bottom (header, text, image)...

can I select them all and align them so that they are all centered with each
other?

TIA,
Greg

Check out the Draw toolbar at the bottom of your screen. If you click the
word draw, a menu will pop up. Hover over "Align or distribute" and you will
find a number of different options for aligning and distributing relative to
other slide objects or to the slide itself.

In the Draw menu, choose Align or Distribute and then choose Align
Center. If you don't have the Drawing toolbar (that contains the Draw
menu), choose Toolbars from the View menu and select the Drawing toolbar.
It usually appears along the bottom of the screen.

[CRITICAL UPDATE - Anyone using Office 2003 should install the critical
update as soon as possible. From PowerPoint, choose "Help -> Check for
Updates".]

Hello,

It sounds that, although this functionality is included in PowerPoint, that
you were not able to find it. It would be great to know what steps you went
through to find this capability in PowerPoint so that we can know where to
improve our help content, user interface, etc. so that it will be easier to
discover this capability in some future version of PowerPoint

If you (or anyone else reading this message) have any suggestions on how to
make it easier to locate this functionality, don't forget to send your
feedback (in YOUR OWN WORDS, please) to Microsoft at:

http://register.microsoft.com/mswish/suggestion.asp

As with all product suggestions, it's important that you not just state
your wish but also WHY it is important to you that your product suggestion
be implemented by Microsoft. Microsoft receives thousands of product
suggestions every day and we read each one but, in any given product
development cycle, there are only sufficient resources to address the ones
that are most important to our customers so take the extra time to state
your case as clearly and completely as possible.

IMPORTANT: Each submission should be a single suggestion (not a list of
suggestions).
