Hi, I have a table with 2 columns and several rows.
On the left columns I use font ARIAL BLACK and right column Arial.
I am trying to vertically align the lines so that it reads properly from
right to left but because the fonts are different (or some other reason that
I obviously dt know), I cannot match the alignment so that it is smooth. It
always ends up slightly off.
I have tried everything I cd such as "space before" and "space after" and
line spacing using "multiple" etc., but that is obviously not the right way.
(It is the mickey mouse way.....)
Surely there is a "standard" way to align these lines.
Can anyone help?
Tx,
S

Select the whole table. In the Format > Paragraph dialog, set the Line
Spacing dropdown to "Exactly". You may have to experiment with the
number of points so the tops of the Arial Black letters don't get cut
off.

Jay,
Tx a million. It worked great.
