Aligning fractions

How do you align fractions other than left, right, center, etc? I want
to align a column of fractions so that the ones digit is vertically
aligned. It should not matter how big the whole number part is or if
there is a whole or fractional part or not. I just want the ones digit
to align.

For example:

5 1/2
5
10 1/2
256 3/4

I selected a column and right aligned it.

I used:
format|cells|number format|Fraction category
up to one digit
and it looked nice.

If I used up to x digits, the ones digit was always aligned and so was the the
slash in the fraction (if there was a fractional portion).

I tried that before I posted, and it did not work. I think all of my
cell contents were text.

However, this does work correctly only if your cell contents are
numbers. Thanks, that fixed it.

New information:

You must clear the 'Wrap text' checkbox in the 'Format Cells |
Alignment' dialog for the range you wish to align. I have no idea why
this checkbox affects aligning fractional numbers, but it does.

The wraptext didn't see to affect my numbers--maybe it was a problem when you
had text in the cells???
