Dear all,

I have a report and would like to preview the report with boarders for each
row and column.

I am trying to adjust each cell to come closer in design view but it is not
coming closer, i mean to touch each other and in the form view look like and
excel sheet with row's and column with boarder.

Pls help me

In design view, you can drag each box to where you need it. Then you can put
a border around each box by right clicking, go to properties, format, border
style. Also it depends on what type of form you use, tabular, columner, etc.
You may need to change that.

Udayan,
I think both your report problem and your form problem can be solved
by the same answer.
In form design view, select two controls (ex. text controls) that are
separated by some vertical or horizontal space.
In Format/Align on the menubar, select Align Left, or Align
Right...etc..
You'll see how Access aligns and "butts" the controls together for a
perfect alignment.

Report Design has the same Align capability.

See... Aligning Controls in Access Help.
