aliasis and XP home

I have a somewhat difficult question, I have several profiles in XP home
already , each with their own e-mail settings ......but all are working
under an alias so all email aliasis are originating from 1 email address(the
one
recognized by the POP3 Server with the login code).

The problem is in telling outlook to only download the mail from the active
profile(=alias).............(now whoever is active on the computer gets all
email)

The POP3 server is my ISP's and I can only run client rules (I guess a rule
checking the adressee in the email header and then deciding whether or not
to download that mail could be made , but probably only in Vbasic??)
apparently outlook express has the option "not download from server "in the
rules set.....that could be usefull but I can not find that in Outlook 2002
??

Are these "aliases" the same as profiles? Check here to be sure:

You need Outlook profiles to ensure a separate .pst file that will only
access mail from that account.

My Profiles in Outlook are setup, BTW I do use Outlook 2002...
The aliasis are an e-mail alias from the ISP server for each family member
and each Outlook profile is set up with that mail alias for each family
member.
Somehow there is no elegant possibility to sort the mail BEFORE downloading
it from the server, so I''ll have to make a rule on each profile to check
the names in the 'to' field and delete the mail not destined for that
profile/alias combination........definitely not the most elegant way of
handling things but I see no other option (other than using other email
adresses yet my ISP only supplies me with 1 unique adress and 5 aliasis)

I am not sure where the rules reside, whether they will see the unique email
adress as the owner, but i have made the rules and will check trhough a we
accessmail account how incoming mail is handled

You're really gonna be a lot happier if you just set up separate POP
accounts with your ISP...there may not be any additional charge. Just my two
cents.

I might, when my ISP was not as stupid as not to offer this service unless I
buy a different service package , and that extra package only has three
unique adresses .........
The package should be quicker at 3000kbps @ 79 euro/month but in real life
it is as quick as my package 1500Kbps @ 50 euro/month......

Another ISP supplying a Quick broadband is not present where I live :-(
