How do I keep catching Alexa? It doesn't seem to do any harm and Ad-Aware
and EasyCleaner seem to remove it, but it keeps coming back and I can't
figure out where I get it. Thanks.

alexa comes with internet explorer. i use spysweeper, www.webroot.com , pc
magazine editors choice for spy removal, it also prevents spyware from even
being installed, better than ad-aware. spysweeper detects alexa but i leave
it alone, i don't want to make internet explorer upset. plus i use it for my
"what's related" button inside internet explorer.

Probably by patching and/or upgrading MS software.

I believe it is actually part of IE itself. However, if you want to remove
it, you might take a gander at:

Be aware each time you update or add a service pack, Alexa may return.

Thanks. That's what did it. I ran into a lot of problems and consulted
Microsoft. They had me reinstall all of IE6 and all of Win2KSP4. Thank
god for cable modem -- the latter is 129 MB.
